Welcome to my author website. My hope for this website is that it will become part of a creative community. I have a lot of friends who are musicians, singers, writers, designers, media personalities and photographers.
Being a part of a creative community helps to inspire others and be inspired. I love encouraging people in their creative endeavours. Most of what we do when creating is a solitary experience, until we launch our creation into the world.
We need each other to encourage one another, to bounce ideas, to promote each other and celebrate each other.
The content of this new website will be based around :
- Inspiration: quotes and photos to encourage creativity and soulful living.
- In My Library: I have a beautiful home library in which to work. I also get to share the space with other writers and creatives who come to talk about their projects or just sit and create in this amazing space. In these posts, I’ll share interviews and promote books and other creative pursuits by friends from around the world.
- Creative Community: I want to promote events or exhibitions by people in my community. Last week, for example I attended a gig to launch Perth girl, Anna O’s EP. If you haven’t heard the track Sleepless yet, get onto it here.
- Philanthropy: promoting causes. I have two I work with quite closely: Transform Cambodia and Water For Africa.
