My role is to help you tell your story honestly, while creating a space where every writer feels welcomed, respected and valued.

What You Can Expect

Storytelling knows no cultural or identity bounds.

Every person has a unique history, culture, personality and lived experience. Those experiences shape the stories we tell, and I believe they enrich our understanding of one another.

If we work together, I’ll seek to know you as an individual rather than make assumptions about you.

You don’t have to edit yourself before you arrive.

You don’t have to fit a particular mould.

I’ll read your story with curiosity, respect and thoughtful attention.

Why This Matters

My understanding of people has grown through years of writing, teaching, volunteering, reading, listening and studying psychology.

Over time I’ve come to believe that stories deserve curiosity before judgement.

Identity matters, but it never tells the whole story.

People are always more complex than labels.

Writing invites us to step into another person’s world with empathy and imagination. It reminds us that every life is layered, every voice has value and every story can deepen our understanding of what it means to be human.

Writing covers all the colours, shapes, beliefs, and values and no one owns another person’s story, but we get to share it, learn from it, and be enriched by it.  

I’m still learning, and I expect that journey to continue. I don’t aim to have every answer. I do hope to remain curious, humble and willing to listen well.

That’s the kind of mentor, writer and fellow traveller I aspire to be.
